The first expectation that the 2025 TLX defies is that driving a sedan has to be dull. Base models employ an exciting turbocharged four-cylinder engine making more than 270 horsepower. A 355-horsepower turbocharged V-6 is also available (Type S™). There is no available version of the Audi A3 that can match this kind of output.
Fuel Economy
Sterne Acura customers choosing the 2025 TLX A-Spec™ can expect the sedan to record 11.3 L/100 km in the city and 8.1 L/100 km on the highways. The lower performance output offered by the Audi A3 does give it a small advantage in fuel economy, 9.8 L/100 km in the city and 6.9 L/100 km on the highway.

Passenger-Friendly Interior
To be sure, everyone riding in the 2025 TLX will be as comfortable as possible thanks to the generous legroom dimensions for the front and rear passengers. The Audi A3 can’t quite match the TLX in terms of legroom for the driver and front passenger. Rear riders will have approximately the same amount of legroom in both sedans.
Plentiful Trunk Space
While the 2025 TLX is driver’s car first and foremost, it still needs to function in a convenient manner. Acura has given the TLX more than 380 litres of trunk space, easily outpacing what is available from the 2025 Audi A3.

The 2025 Acura TLX delivers a more advanced connected experience than what is found in the competing Audi A3.
